                                    Our Mission

Is to provide an online resource for CNY community members to easily access information about local health and wellness services and organizations, as well as to learn about how to
make lifestyle changes.

We define wellness as a way of life. It's about living in the world as a conscious spirit and being committed to a life of balance, purpose, passion and health.

An old Indian saying goes, "If you want to see what your thoughts were like yesterday, look at your body today. If you want to see what your body will be like tomorrow, look at your thoughts today." — Deepak Chopra, M.D.
Spring is Here!
We are beginning to enjoy warmer temperatures, brighter skies, the sight of green grass, and longer days. There's nothing better than the turn of Spring. With that in mind, Spring is the time when we slowly come out of our winter shells. Little by little, we begin to peal off the layers of winter, physically and spiritually. Winter is our time of hibernation and reflection. Spring is our time to bud, and the question is: How can we transition healthfully from Winter into Spring?

1). Begin to spend time outdoors. Take walks at lunch, after dinner, before work.

2). Refuel your spirit... read an inspiring book, take a new class, join a club, go dancing... do what you need to do            to feel connected and alive.

3). Make small, slow changes in your foods — from heartier meals and larger portions to lighter dishes, fresher           vegetables and smaller portions.

4). Make a list of some of your life goals, or revisit the one you've already created. Choose one goal, focus on it,           make a plan, and commit to its success.

5). Find grace, peace and strength to let go of any emotional stress you've been carrying around. It's time to           lighten ourselves up and move forward.

Honor and respect your life by feeding your body nutritious foods and by moving your body on a        regular basis
Make it a priority each day to connect with your loved ones
Learn to find beauty in all seasons and spend time outdoors
Take the time to notice the simple wonders in life, such as a pure raindrop perfectly placed in the        palm of a leaf
